Expulsion of Common Sense.

America, the land of the 'free' allowing a DOCTRINE OF BELIEF in the forefront of professional and public debate.

Tell me now, why did the first colonists want to create a separate country from the ones in Europe? Hmm-well if your all serious and true to your own country's history-, looks like your country's ethics have gone right down the crapper, haven't they.

But of course there will be people that say something like 'Well, we have our opinion's. Why can't we let the general public see them?'
(A) Because you call into evidence a being that-by all current technological standards-is beyond our understanding or comprehension and(possibly) all knowing and all powerful.
And if anyone tries to say something out of ol' jailbird Kent Hovind's playbook, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, THAT MAN IS POSSIBLY THE BIGGEST DOUCHE NEXT TO JOHN EDWARD. *ahem*

To get right to the crux of the problem, say we allow this 'creation science' or as it's now know(I hope I've got the up to date name) ~~~'Intelligent Design'~~~ (the ~'s are for dramatic effect!)
Off the top of my head there are at least 17 mainstream Religions(have to capitalize it) and all of them have a different take on what the creation of man/the world/the universe was like. Then there's the different takes on what life should be like, same problem.
Now, please be asking this question to yourselves (what does this even have to do with science?)

(A). Well, a deity did it. {Where the hell is the continuation of that, oh you did it god, well good for you man, you're smarter than me so it must be a good thing, right.} [Science is to 'Evaluate' a process, to see if-in our current knowledge of the workings of existence-it works. GOD DID IT JUST WON'T CUT IT, it takes out the main portion of the scientific method.

That, to be allowed a mainstream understanding of SCIENCE or 'FACT' is how every single fascist group has been created since before we kept records of it. Its very, VERY VERY VERY dangerous. Please don't dismiss this out of hand and try to keep an open mind.
